Patience

Bringing stems indoors this time of year can offer up a burst of colour and a renewed love for winter. The monochromatic pallet this time of year is wonderfully brought alive and a sense of hope renewed, as tightly packed buds unravel. Coaxed out with warm water and curious energy from all eyes as they wonder about it.

What colour will the blossom be?

Waiting as we watch the difference between flower and leaf buds develop and teach us Patience.

As we prune I keep an eye out for potential stems to demonstrate to the clients, some are good for grafting others cuttings for rooting up, and others for pure joy! Eye candy!

Give your winter garden a second look, and see the wonders around you.
