. Our work is to encourage environmental awareness, stewardship, self-sufficiency, and resilience in individuals and the community.

Nova Scotia's Leading-Edge Ecological Landscaper

At Helping Nature Heal, our expert landscape designers and crew work with nature to create beautiful, ecological outdoor spaces that connect people to the land and environment around them.

Our unique approach blends ecosystem science, landscape design, ecological restoration, biodynamics, permaculture, eco-forestry, and horticulture therapy to create sustainable landscapes that are customized to each client. Our designs harmonize the desires of our clients with the needs of the surrounding ecosystems to create personalized outdoor spaces that are biologically diverse, ecologically functional, aesthetically pleasing, and spiritually renewing.

Our team practices a holistic approach to sustainability that strengthens environmental, community, and economic resilience.

We are proud to be a community-minded business that gives back to the communities that support our work. Each year we contribute a portion of our profits and staff expertise to local sustainability initiatives.

At Nature's Store, we offer a wide selection of locally-adapted plants, seeds, and organic gardening supplies to the local community.

We also provide a variety of educational services such as workshops, courses, presentations, and mentorships in order to share our knowledge and help make Nova Scotia a more sustainable place to live.
