Preparing for Storms

With a hurricane in the forecast for this weekend, we have created a short list of things you can do to prepare and protect your property.

Documentation is very important to keep record of the changes each storm makes. This can help if remediation plans are necessary, especially if you live in a area impacted by erosion.

In every case, knowing the impact of a storm can help decide if storm water management techniques are necessary to reduce damage caused by heavy rain fall and runoff. It may also help decide where trees should be planted or removed to help reduce the impact of wind damage on your property.
